  Manor house room was large and recently refurbished though retaining some nice antique furniture. Delicious breakfast. Friendly and accommodating staff.

  Never left a review before but this really does deserve one.
  The only thing that wasn't what we expected was location ( That being it wasn't prime lake district , to get to the picturesque town centre you have to walk past housing areas)
  All aspects of the hotel we couldn't fault , all staff straight from arrival were incredibly helpful and friendly in a totally relaxed environment highly recommend and we will definitely return.
